A Moderated Mediation Model of Empowering Leadership and Employees’ Innovative Work Behavior

This study examined the moderated mediation model of empowering leadership and employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB) by analyzing mediating role psychological empowerment high-performance system (HPWS). Using convenience sampling technique, time-lagged data was collected from 433 software engineers working in different companies operating Pakistan. Hierarchical regression analysis PROCESS macro were used to perform analysis. The findings revealed that impacts IWB directly as well through their empowerment, while HPWS moderates relationship between empowerment. further articulated effects also arbitrate IWB. results this implied when employees context a high HPWS, they reciprocate positively support resources received leaders. Similarly, greatly enhances creativity. In low depends upon leaders’ on own Hence, analyzed (contextual boundary conditions) how (the underlying mechanism) utilizing model.
